GSR Catastrophic Disaster Relief Fund

The CFA Gulf Shore Region has established a GSR Disaster Relief Fund. This fund was established in order to help our regional exhibitors, breeders, and vendors who had experienced catastrophic losses. Only those who have either exhibited in a GSR CFA Show in the past year or are a verifiable member of a GSR CFA club will be eligible for assistance. This fund will disburse assistance to “our own” based on need and availability of funds as determined by our Regional Director and the GSR Finance Committee. Requests for funds must be specific and directed to Paula Noble.

We have funds available to help in other disastrous events that may occur within our Region.  These events may be natural or man-made and those affected may be assisted through this fund.

Funds can be sent by check made out to GSR Region c/o Sheryl Zink, 6427 Singing Creek Lane, Spring, TX 77379 or by emailing to sazink@att.net. All checks must indicate that the donation is for the “GSR Disaster Fund”.   Please be advised that donations are NOT tax-deductible. All funds will be indicated on the GSR Financial Statement to be used by the Region in the event of another regional disaster.

In the event of a Regional Disaster, if you have any supplies (food, carriers, cages, etc.) that you would be willing to donate, please contact Beth Grant- Field (Texas) or Lynne Schreiner (Louisiana and Western MS). If outside of TX/MS/LA, please contact Paula Noble. We will arrange to have them delivered to those in need as quickly as possible.
